The extreme heat certainly played its part at the Cereals Event but the Plug&Cool team survived and enjoyed a successful show at Thorsby Estate, Nottinghamshire. There was plenty to see and do with more exhibitors this year, an expanded demonstration area and even a live performance from the “Scrumpy and Western” band, the Wurzels.

The Plug&Cool stand certainly turned a few heads, and farmers were attracted by the bright orange aluminium fans and Poly Pedestals. But, the main interest was in the Multi-Zone Control Panel with it’s ability to turn off fans when they’re not needed. The sales and support team were on hand to give demonstrations and to explain how the control panel works, and the Cereals event gave the chance for farmers to see how well built they really are. Saving energy and running costs is still on the minds of arable farmers so although the Multi-Zone control panel seems like an expensive investment, the sales team was keen to promote the long term savings.

Not only were Farmers able to see the Plug&Cool products close-up, but they were also able to take advantage of exclusive show offers when making enquiries. And for the team at Plug&Cool it was a great opportunity to catch up with the product resellers from the UK and Ireland.

What’s next for Plug&Cool

With the busy harvest period just about to begin, the Plug&Cool team are packing fans and pedestals ready to be shipped all around the UK. But once the season is over, the sales and marketing team will be looking ahead to November when the Agritechnica show will be taking place in Hannover, Germany. This will be the first appearance for Plug&Cool at Agritechnica so the preparations have already began, and there’s quite a bit of excitement about the upcoming show.
