The journey was long, the exhibition halls were buzzing, and the beer was continually flowing at this year’s Agritechnica show. There’s a different vibe in comparison with the UK shows with a hint of a party atmosphere surrounding the young farmers that attended this year’s show. There were also a lot of families attending with young children adorned in the latest John Deere get-up, and agricultural students on the hunt for free giveaways.

For Plug&Cool, it was a fantastic opportunity to further our reach into the European and Worldwide markets. We were happy to meet farmers and distributors from all over the world including countries as far as Brazil and New Zealand. The language barrier may have been a challenge to begin with, but once everyone had learned the hand signals for “pedestal” and “grain storage”, and with a little help from Google translate we were well on our way.

We were also well covered with our French and Dutch-speaking customers as this year we had the pleasure of sharing our stand with our Belgium-based resellers, Fontaine Silo. Fontaine Silo has decades of experience in the arable sector and has sold thousands of grain-cooling fans and pedestals to farmers in Europe. Customers visiting the stand also took a keen interest in Fontaine Silo’s temperature monitoring control devices as energy saving is still at the forefront of many farmer’s minds.

As for Plug&Cool products, the star of the Agritechnica show was the Plug&Cool poly pedestal. The pedestal on show was regularly inspected, pushed around, and sometimes even kicked by visitors just to test its durability. Many eyebrows were raised at its affordability and lifetime guarantee. Agritechnica 2023 was also the first time we unveiled the brand-new product range, Plug&Cool Outdoor. Plug&Cool Outdoor is self-explanatory and we will be officially launching the new product in the UK at next year’s LAMMA show, so watch this space.

We would love to meet you and welcome you onto our Plug&Cool stand (8.500) at LAMMA24 to discuss next year’s harvest. If you’re not attending the show at the NEC, feel free to give us a call, send us an email, or follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and X, for all the latest Plug&Cool updates.
